Keith, You said it as I did, just differently. Look Close pick it and stick with it. Control, Control. The airplane is coming down. An 15 or 20 feet more may not be an option. When I was working on my priv. lic. that was drilled into me. Pick a spot and circle down to it, adjusting for wind and Alt. left to go. With a little work you can become pretty good at it.
