You're going to hear some people bash Slicks and other bash Bendix. What it amounts to is they both work. They're commodities as are the harnesses so find the best price and get on with it. The best price may actually be through your A&P. Most supply houses (even Univair) give a 10% discount to shops. If you call and have them shipped direct to the shop, you can ask for the discount because they assume (they don't really care) that you're the mechanic calling for the stuff to re-sell, and offer the discount, or give it if asked. My guy HATES to shop for parts, so he just has his customers call the parts houses, say they're from his shop (they ARE, after all a lot of the work is supervised owner-performed work) and have the stuff sent out on their credit-cards.
