No, Larry, I am not and A&P. First there is no big deal with our airplanes. Other than finding someone who will work on them. At a price that most of us can afford. We are in a bottom end airplane. Some because that is all we can swing. Not all of us have the ability to do our own work. This is where the rub comes in. A n A&P is no God with some great power of know all. They are just people that have a piece of paper that said "OK you can go out and learn more on other people A/C." This hole thing is able one own ability. Should one be able to fix ones own A/C? there is on answer to that. Can I yes. Why because that is a gift I was given at birth. Somehow it all come down to what you as a person are. My brother retired at 52. He went to school learned how to work with other peoples money. Played is card right. After retirement he went back to school and became an A&P. I learned auto / mechanist but that was because it just
all fell into place. I was not good it school. But when it came to working with my hands and seeing a problem and fixing it, it just was not work. This is just an example of the different between people. So to make a blanket statement is wrong. I think because of that you wrong to make your statement. How do builders learn? As above different ways. To some it come natural. To others it is from doing. We all need to be shown to way. By hands on or with text. With a person by our side or trial and error. With and airplane to error could kill you. But you know the a lot of home builder kill themselves in the first few hours don't you? That the way I feel, Warren __________________________________________________________________________ ______ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
