As you all know, I have envied Lynn and Joel their trip ever since it was
announced. I was very pleased that they were able to stop in Springfield
and visit and see some of the sights. I wish we could have spent more
time
with them, but we traveled to Kansas City on Sat/Sun to visit our own 10
year old grandsons and their sister. This left Lynn and Joel to fend for
themselves for two days. But we had a little time to visit and share some
histories because of the rain. We especially enjoyed getting to know
Joel.
He is a delightful young man. All of you going to the Nationals should be
sure to look him up. He has been a real trooper on this trip and he's
making his grandad very proud. Both of them will be welcome back to any
of
the coupers they have stopped to visit.

Lynn and Joel's trip should be a wake up call to all of us that have
grandchildren, airplanes, and an opportunity to put them together.

Lynn, sorry you had to babysit the extra dog and the old black cat so
much,
but thanks for taking care of them. Have a fun trip.

Joel, Mrs. Doyle says thank you for the trivia games and the assistance
with
Nintendo. Come back and visit us anytime.
