I am wondering, do you folks think it would work to hook a VW coil up to the distributor and points in there to get the thing to spark? My left mag is just dead when it is warm. It looks to me like if I just drill a hole for the HT lead, I could hook it up to the center post there and hooking the points and the battery up would be easy enough. I'll mount it right on the firewall. Seems to me that maybe the FAA would not be to keen on the idea, though. Glen Ward
