I haven't had a bit of trouble with my 15K and outside ambient noise.
Perhaps
your radio or intercom is to blame for the lack of squelching? I've
noticed
that if the windows are down and I haven't squelched it WAY back, then
there
is excessive noise. Of course "excessive" is open for interpretation.
