I've been delayed at flying N6363V. I flew her home on May 29 and have been busy. Also, have been learning about the fuel system. Several days after I got home, I notice that the header tank gauge showed empty. Took vise grips to get cap off! Also had water in the tanks. This week, finally, I get to work on her and find that the left inner quick drain(header tank) seems to be leaking or else is loose/disconnected in side. It is very wiggly and not behaving like I think it should.
Has any one else had this kind of problem?  How do I get at the fitting to tighten or even replace the header tank drain?
Do the drains drain from the bottom of the tanks?
How can I get gas from the right inner(gascolator) quick drain with the header tank empty?
Where is the a good source to study about the specs of the system?
I do have new cap gaskets ordered to help with the water problem.

ps Lynn Nelson has been very helpful by e-mail - helping me learn about the system so far. Maybe I'll get the problem fixed and enjoy a trip like his. I like to dream!
