thanks, Ed. I saw in the logs that the Belleville springs had been
installed
a long time ago and it does have the dual fork nose wheel.  I'm half handy
with that sort of stuff so I'll give it a shot.  If I get hung up I'll get
some of the hangers-around to help (with the appropriate log entry).  I'm
surprised at how many of the old-timers are stopping by to check out the
Coupe. I wish I had it polished-out already. There hasn't been one
hangered
at this FBO for over 25 years.

For those of you in the Eastern Colorado, Western Kansas, Northern
Texas/New
Mexico, Southern Nebraska area looking for an excuse to fly are invited to
Lamar, Colorado (LAA) July 26th, 27th and/or 28th.  The Wings of Freedom
Tour will stop here from 3 p.m. on the 26th until 2 p.m. on the 28th.  A
fully restored B-17 and B-24 will be gracing the ramp.  The B-24 Liberator
has a familiar-looking twin tail configuration and I can hardly wait to
get
some images of the Coupe and the Liberator together!  I'd really like to
get
some shots of the two aircraft flying together.  Now that would be really
cool!
