Charlie, With 5644F The header tank drain is fastened to the frame to hold it in place (Under the floor board.) Using light clamp. This makes it seem
loose. Also last year I found the line between the tank and the drain
leaking
from rubbing on a stiffener. Inside under the side panel. The insulation
was
socking it up. Just ever once in a while I would get a little smell of
gas.
As to the gasalator If my header valve is turned off the Gasalator will
not drain because it forms a vacuum. Open the valve an the line will flow
free. I have this problem with Water heaters when replacing. The customer
will try to help by installing a garden hose and opening the drain valve.
An
hour later when I get there the W/H is still full. No air no pressure.
Yours, Warren H
