What are your thoughts on the following hypothetical situations:
There are two model 415-C coupes. One has been flying regularly, up to
date on AD's and current on maintenance but has about 2400 hrs logged,
which seems about normal. Recent overhaul and current annual. Unusual
stress crack in belly repaired and signed off by FAA 20 years ago and
has beautiful interior/exterior with professionally updated panel, lots
of avionics, metal wings and paint.
The other one hasn't been regularly flown for a long time but is current
on AD's and maintenance and has less than 1000 hours, which seems really
low. Original panel, new fabric wings, polished exterior, current
annual. Wonderful interior/exterior with lots of spare parts. Very
original.
Benefits vs. downsides of each?
