I think it's a good idea to have it where it is and to continue putting the reference to it on the regular forum(s). It doesn't hurt anything the way you're doing it and it's sort of like a seatbelt, it just might come in handy someday. Anyone who doesn't like it there doesn't have to read it. I don't pay any attention to the: subscribe/unsubscribe footers but maybe someday I'll need one of them and I'll know exactly where to find them. Perhaps your idea of putting the disclaimer down below with them is a good idea. Keep up the good work.
