Perhaps what we really need here is a third list.  We'd have the Coupers Tech (honest to God Scouts honor truth) which would need no disclaimer because all posts are factual.  The Coupers which would require the disclaimer, as you would have to be on your guard against trouble makers. And, the CoupersBS list in which you would know all posts are Bull and should be taken with a grain of salt. This would again not require a disclaimer.  We could then take our posts with or without the disclaimers.

    I just re-read your disclamer, again.  I think it's a good idea to
have it where it is and to continue putting the reference to it on the
regular forum(s).
    It doesn't hurt anything the way you're doing it and it's sort of
like a seatbelt, it just might come in handy someday.
    Anyone who doesn't like it there doesn't have to read it. I don't
pay any attention to the: subscribe/unsubscribe footers but maybe
someday I'll need one of them and I'll know exactly where to find them.
Perhaps your idea of putting the disclaimer down below with them is a
good idea.
