I agree that there is a need for a disclaimer, but there is something
that
is much more important here.
We all have a great sense of humor here (One of the things I like about
our family). But if we could just drop a line in our mail which states
"Just
Joking" this would let people know that this little bit of info is just a
joke. Sometimes it is obvious that we are joking (Tow the plane home using
a
long rope). But tell someone who has no experience that a cup of sugar in
the gas tank would improve the power output could get someone killed (That
was hypothetical). If we just rely on the disclaimer to cover our butts,
then someone with limited knowledge has no idea what are true
recommendations and what are jokes. It would be a shame if no one took
anything seriously due to the fact that they have no idea if there is any
truth to anything we say here. This would take away from the most
important
thing about our "virtual family", the knowledge resource at our
fingertips!
Lets just throw a "Just kiddin" when we are in fact kidding. This would
end this whole discussion.
