Spend the weekend working on the exhaust system. What I normally do is put a vacuum on to the tail pipe. Then put the vacuum on blow and check for leaks. BOY WAS THERE LEAKS. It appears the system is made to leak. From my understanding, the system should not be ridged, to prevent breaking the pipes. With all the cuts in the muffler, the holes for clamps, etc. it is impossible to stop them all. I had no leaks before, but I think I did to good a job, (the headers broke last weekend, in flight - freighting experience). So two questions: 1. How much movement is required to prevent breakage and damage to the exhaust system? 2. How much leaking exhaust is permitted? (I want none, but that looks like the impossible). On a side note: I must be getting better at this flying stuff. I use to be white knuckled the whole time. Now after a couple of hours I'll lay my head on the side glass and go right to sleep. It's so relaxing.
