That is what I thought, but it sure does
fade!
What would make the radio fade? Even
though turning on the landing lights could exceed the generator output, the
battery should more than take up the slack. The radios should be OK
until the battery starts to run low.

instruments hooked up. The instruments I have take around
4-5." They must have put a big expensive add-on generator on
there if it is a 35amp. If it is a 35 then you will most likely be
okay but don't go flying through Class B with all that stuff added in
there and then decide to test if it all works with the landing lights
turned on. I know one coupe that has its radios fade when the
