----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- While he was pulling up all the STC'd props for the Coupe, my A&P clearly found the Koppers Aeromatic F200 hub with 00-73E or 00-73F blades. I would like to get the real scoop on this prop. The seller shows an AD which was complied with back in 1950. I would like to know if there are any new AD's. This prop is certainly a novelty, and if it functioned correctly, it would seem to be nearly as good as a constant speed prop. But, it could spoil my day if a blade flew off. I've heard all these horror stories about just that, but it would seem that either the AD's would cure it, or the FAA would ground it. I do know that it would certainly make a great wall hanging, as it's one of the best looking props I've seen. Now, if only my wife would let me put it on the mantle.
