got a lot done on the G model today. I finally got the blasting done, the entire inside of the fuselage and the engine mount are ready for epoxy primer. I alodined all of the aluminum, and sprayed some rattle-can primer on all the steel parts just to keep the rust off until the epoxy goes on. I almost have the tail stripped. The next thing will be to paint the 3 gear and the fuselage and then set it back on the gear. I have my accessories almost ready. I put my new rotors in my magnetos, just have to buy the coils. Repainted all the accessories gloss black, and I will sand-blast the engine to remove all the old crusty paint and then use some engine paint on it. I havent covered the wings yet- maybe sometime this month. To answer the search for an engine- there are complete engines listed in every issue of trade-a-plane- you can get a 1300 hr C85 for about 3000 bucks. They also have 0200s too. I cant think of the name of the place, but the ad is usually toward the back of the paper. till later....
