Yep, there are a LOT of faulty airspeed indicators out there. I bought a new airspeed indicator. They aren't that expensive. Now it's very accurate with my GPS cross-testing. After I replaced the gauge, I went out to fly it to deliberately get used to the working speeds of the plane as indicated with the new airspeed indicator. Wanted to burn them into my mind so when I glance at it on short final during wind shear I can quickly figure what is my cushion above minimum-flying-speed.
