----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hello to ya'all This last weekend in Ill was less than desireable lowish ceilings and fair visiblity gave me some options to work around the house FUN? huh? I liked the talk about putting N numbers on a car I restored a 69 bug convert just finished actually no rust I overhauled the engine its like an aircraft engine Now i think I'll put some 12"' numbers on it so it looks like an INDY PACE car can you imagine that? this car in cruise sounds like a Lycoming if you are sitting in the back. Hey Spook what will it take for you to come to ILL (dinner and drinks with some coupers we have a really nice group of ILL and Wisc coupers that I'm sure would show you a great time .) BTW I flew into Meigs field last weekend for a rally to show off the field to the public and display the old ,new and experimentals to the public good turn out for the people but the aircraft turnout was light maybe 20 or so . 2 coupes me and Jerry mcWhorter in his '48 we had alot of people ask what is that and did I build it.?Lots of people took Pics of these old birds (me and Jerry) I was hoping that Mayor Daley would come--- he didn't . He is the real reason that Meigs is to close and turn into a Park as if Chicago needs another park the Lake shore is full of them. Landing on this RWY seams as if you are landing on a carrier- from final anyway If you have flight simulator It is exactly lilke that My son said WOW it's just like the computer program and it really is I landed to the North it is Awesome. We flew the lakeshore to the north going home it is really beautiful the beaches the buildings its worth the trip just to do that watching the sail boats and the topless sun bathers.
thats all for now Dennis IX IX V VI IV in ILL __________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
