I REALLY would like to replace my broken
spring with another spring gear instead of changing to the trailing
gear.
Again it is the pilots side and if ANYONE has a
clue on where I could get one, PLEASE let me know.
I have looked into the expense of changing the
gear and it is prohibitive.
I already had to sink $15,000.00 into this
plane this year, and I am tapped out. She has a rebuilt engine and new
millennium cylinders, EVERYTHING is like new now and it just makes me sick to
see her with a broken leg.
I was able to be connected up with a very
kind young man who was willing to swap hangers with me so she can be inside
again, but we are talking different airports and my A&P is not where she is.
I can't even bring her home. :-(
I'd appreciate any help anyone could
offer.
