Joa; That is a great idea. We made a set of molds to make hubs out of fiberglass. However, we found that by making the fit close enough, you do not need to use the screws. Our first set is about ready to paint, so I do not know how they are going to turn out. I like the sound of your idea better, especially the brass insert.
