Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Becker avionics. There's an article in Nov, 2000 Custom Planes about them and they look very impressive. One in particular looks very suitable for the Ercoupe. It's a split unit with a very small head in the panel and the rest under a seat or wherever. They also make an identical NAV radio. There is a MFD available that will control the COM and NAV radios and a transponder or ADF. Very nice, but I suspect very pricey. I haven't found a price yet so, not sure. They look a lot like the Micro Air but more bells and whistles. I'm in need of a new(er) COM and NAV radio for the 'coupe I'm trying to buy. I thought about a KXN-125 but maybe the Becker is better. Any thoughts, comments, or experiences appreciated.
