*****Shame on the Instructor for allowing this! "Look student, if you want
to learn to fly 'with me'
then the lesson starts by learning safety. The belt fastenes before the
engine starts".(Next they'll be
'skimping' on the walk around, then the mag checks)
I've flown in air so bumpy that if I didn't have my seatbelt on I'd
probably have had holes in the roof.
(Sure glad the wings weren't ripped off)
    The dmage should have been deducted from the instructors wages for not
enforcing safety!
    What if there had been a crash and the student was killed? Do you
think the 'Lap-Strap' issue would
have come up?  You bet it would, I'll bet his life insurance would not
have paid off, and the instructor
would probably be looking for a 'non-flying' job.
