Mike has hit the nail on the head here! Anyone can fly a plane around in
the sky. The Coupe is easier
than most. I let my 16 year old son take the controls the other day. He
flew it for 30 minutes without
my touching the yoke. First time ever he'd had control. Yes, we were up
and down, and round about
quite a bit, but, the ground was waaaay down there. No concern about
hitting it. But, if you come in
on down wind out of position, you'll be out of position on base, and more
than likely each time you
turn, you'll be farther out of position. Now, you've got to try and
correct all the problems i.e. too
low, too slow, 100 ft. to the left of center, etc. etc. It's pretty tough
to correct all these things
and grease the landing too. If you turn on to final with all things
perfect, all you have to worry
about is a good flare. Then, you'll hear the individual pebbles hit the
wheels just prior to hearing
them make contact. All you'll feel is the breaking action as she makes
contact. No Yo-yo here.
