This would be true if we were talking about compression pressure, but in fact
they were talking about the pressure due to combustion (BMEP), which can be
changed by modifying timing, among other things.
The AD had to do with head-barrel separation and only applies to Continental
cylinders, only whe used on O200s and (I believe) only those manufactured
prior to a certain date. The rocker shaft AD also only applies to
Continental cylinders, but has nothing to do with timing and is not
restricted O200s.
