Hi Skypops, My 'Coupe had a leaky shutoff valve when I got it. Mine is of the type with a taper valve arrangement. The fix was to remove it disassemble it and lap the two parts by hand using very fine lapping compound. Put it back on and it's been working for 10 years now without a leak. Don't give up yet!
