Regarding the Couper who wanted to test compatability of paints so that he can paint a stripe on his leading edge; I have an alternative suggestion for a paintless way to do it. Get a computerized-lazer-cut-vinyl sign shop to make and apply a leading edge stripe for you. I have been thinking of getting one to cut some trim stripes for my wingtips. A skilled one, like the one we have in my home town where the owner is also a flyer, can do a great job of this for you.
