Yes, I've also read the reports of the poor Ercoupes. But I've also read NTSB of what happened. Must of the crashes were plan stupid. Not withstanding were some fuel problems caused by fitting breaking. Just plain running out of gas is not the airplane and as far as I'm concerned I wish they would place them under foolish facts or some other heading. A 150 or Ercoupe will come to Earth without fuel. Ercoupe tend to be under serviced. And Carb. Fuel screens and the like need attention. The 150 is one for two areas ahead of our Coupe no fuel pump. So how can you compare what pilots do or don't do. I've not seen fact that compare just mechanical problems. Warren H.
