Howdy, List -- Not to stir up trouble, but in reading the NTSB reports it seemed to me like there were a fair number of problems with landing the 'coupe. Having just learned how to fly one myself and having trained in a 152 (can't speak to the 150, I'm afraid) I'd have to say that the you can do a fair amount of sloppy stuff in the 152 on final, and still make out OK. I don't think it's quite the same in our babies.
Don't get me wrong; I still think my 'coupe is a pussycat to land. But I watch my airspeed like a hawk. If you don't do that, and come in slow, or flare real high and chop power, it seems to me that you could drop a 'coupe pretty hard. Is that fair to say? I'm still not planning of letting go of mine anytime soon...the 152s I flew were good, solid planes and very forgiving, but boring as all get-out compared to my 'coupe.
