Paul, I did the same thing. Didn't fly for 20 years, got a medical and BFR and was legal. Went and bought a coupe, but was too smart (scared) to fly by myself until I had had some duel with another couper over the course of several weeks. It still took me a year to get comfortable again. But the
coupe makes it all worth while. It is easy to fly, forgiving, and just "plane" enjoyable. The skills will return quickly and you won't regret the effort. I think we are typical of many pilots. Ken Doyle Springfield, Mo Alon N5477E
