I am lauching into a project to repair my main gear leg
springs to raise the height of the tail, and I have a few
questions for the combined wisdom of the list:

1) I have a Forney with Belleville springs. Do I use the spacer
that other Coupers use with their rubber shocks, or should I
replace the springs with new ones?

2)Does anyone know offhand what diameter rod fits into the
hole in the main gear knee-joint (for jacking up the coup).

3) What is the easiest way to compress the springs on the
shock to remove the snap ring on the top? (and is the snap ring internal
or
external).

Thanks for the help.
Any other advice would be welcome as well.
