The last factory-built airplane I owned was a 1956 PA22-150 TriPacer.  It is a great airplane, will carry plenty of weight, and flys faster than most 172s.  Unfortunately, they are not attractive airplanes.  Great flyers, too.  And very inexpensive to own, what with cheap parts available and low-tech construction throughout.  But still ugly.   Rick Nelson   ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike Shaffer To: Coupers Mailing List Sent: Sunday, August 15, 1999 5:11 PM Subject: Other classics I have been watching the list for a while and have found it very interesting.
