I am having a battery charging problem. Have a new battery and voltage regulator. Last night I discovered that when turning the prop the generator shaft does not turn. Is it possible that the shaft is broken? I have never heard of this. Maybe the gear came off, but no noise was heard. Just noticed that the battery was not charging. Anybody had a similar problem? Would appreciate any advise on removing the generator, any secrets I should know.
