You can have your mechanic copy the one from "Skip" he has them for a nominal fee or perhaps they are now free on the internet. Any competent mechanic can submit a simple line drawing of the revised wiring, switching, breaker, alternator on a 337 with the new "instructions for continuing airworthiness" and have it easily accepted most anywhere. The trick is knowing which "fed" in each FSDO is able and does field approvals. More and more of them are not, those in my area are about 1 out of 2. I have a simple "follow-on" to a full STC for an electric controlled constant speed propeller for any engine that my newly assigned "@#$%^&*()" FSDO person thought he needed to send to "engineering" two other guys said they would have just signed my submission and sent it back. I sent it to him as he is the person assigne to the Prop-shop that did the original work on a friends plane with lots of help from the locals. I've asked for reassignment to one of those two as an IA. My old guy signed off hundreds of 337's I've prepared all successful but the new guys isn't that clever. My advice is to find a mechanic willing to work with the FSDO in general and it'l happen. I do prepare submissions for many other mechanics and my "fee" is reasonable./tom
