It's another one of those "my snake-oil is better than
yours." I've always used AEROSHELL because it's easy to get
here in San Jose - on trips I've mixed brands with no
deleterious effects. I used to use multi-grade, but switched
back to single grade after I read in a few sources that
unless you use the plane daily, the multi-grade is so
slippery that it runs off the parts before your next start
much faster than single-grade, resulting in more wear.

What's really important is to change oil religiously 25
hours if you have a screen, 50 hours if you have a filter or
four times a year minimum, regardless of hours. I doubt that
there is any significant difference in "quality," only what
you use the oil for (i.e. multi-grade, single-grade,
straight mineral).

Sounds like a good price to me, much cheaper than anything
else you will pay for, parts, labor, etc.
