Does it really matter whether our coupes are registered certified or
experimental?  If they had equipment changes, like some of the many props
out there,  or engine changes, like a Suburu conversion, they would have
to be licenced experimental.  What disadvantage would any Ercoupe be at
if it were not licenced certified standard registration and re licenced
experimental for such changes as cited here.  Would not the very
aviailable Suburu engines be a good choice for an alternative engine for
the Ercoupe?  Just wondering.  I am not contemplating such a change.  The
discussion on the PLZ engines made me want to ask about alternative
engines.
