Greetings to Minnesota "Coupers" and surrounding state's "Coupers",
I've seen various fly-ins on the Couper's Mailing List and I'm curious as to whether fellow-coupers would like to participate in a fly-in or breakfast, etc. somewhere in the area.  I don't know exactly how to organize one since I have never participated in one.  I most certainly would volunteer to help.  I bought my "Spirit of '46' Coupe" last May, started my first lesson and got my license in July.  I have flown it 150 hours and enjoyed every minute.  Now I look for reasons to fly.  One can only fly around the "patch" so long.
I have met several of the Minnesota "Coupers" and through our conversations I concluded that they were quite active.  Lots of stories!  Well, guys, let's fire up and do something together.  Got any good ideas?  One thing for sure, I would rather not have a get-together  in my back yard.  I WANT to fly. Don't really care where, just fly.  I've waited 40 years to do this and I'm really looking for you all to join in for some fun and fellowship.  Don't know if that's politically correct as I certainly do not want to exclude the female gender.  My wife doesn't fly, yet anyway, but she has accompanied me on several occasions and appears to enjoy the experiences.  My dog, a Shetland Sheepdog,  Brady, has also taken to the skies.  Only wish I could figure out some sort of earplugs or ear muffs to cut down on the noise for him.  Doesn't seem to bother him.
So, if any of you are receptive to this idea, why not contact me via e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] or the telephone 612-892-6370(home) or 612-435-9551(horse barn).  My address is Dallas E. Larson  9620 178th St. W.  Lakeville, MN 55044
Hope to hear from you.
