I was reading one of the articles in ercoupers.com (LIST OF ERCOUPE
MODIFICATIONS AND APPROXIMATE SERIAL NUMBERS OF AIRPLANES ON WHICH
CHANGES FIRST BECAME EFFECTIVE ) and noticed this...
"MODIFICATIONS
The split elevator can be installed on the 415-C model
without other modifications to increase
the gross weight in accordance with SKYPORT AIRCOUPE SERVICES service
letter."
Does this mean that I wouldn't have to do all the conversion mods to
go from a C to a D if I just wanted to add the E tail and increase my
gross? It seems like this would be the way to go? Am I missing
something?
