If that's so critical, then I wonder if gap seals would help at all. Anybody know if this has been tried? Also, I've been wondering if those goofy vortex-generators would help these airplanes, and if there is a kit for them. These things are supposed to be a pretty good deal. Down at the Lompoc Cub fly-in, some guys had them installed and swore by them. I don't know if they alter the climb rate, but they're supposed to improve the high AOA performance dramatically.
