2006/5/16, Gabriele Carioli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
I've set up a system with Postfix, Courier-imap, Amavisd-new and virtual
users on a MySQL database.

Everything is working fine, authentication is OK, webmail is working as
it should, viruses are kept out, etc.

I've only one user from one virtual domain (with several users) claiming
to have problems.
This customers collects all messages for all users with Exchange 5.5.
He claims that a single particular account authenticates but download no
messages.

As far as I can see, messages are delivered to that mailbox, and after
the connection they are deleted as they should.

Is it possible to log the POP3 session?
I mean all the USER/PASS/LIST/RETR/DELE stuff?
How?

I know you are refering to POP3 but maybe the customer can try IMAP
also. Maybe it will just work. If it doesn't: On an IMAP session you
can create a debug lon on the server by adding a line in the
configuration file of courier-imap - search the archive of this list -
some weeks ago sam posted a way to do it replying to me.

for POP3 many clients offer an option to create a detailed log
