For the courier-fax package.
I've build Courier countless times from source, and I can't ever recall needing those to be installed.
That's because you made a custom builds. RPMs are generic, which turn everything on, and leave the optional stuff into separate subpackages that do not have to be installed. But, RPMs are meant to provide all features, and you choose what you want to use by installing only the packages you want.
That's pretty much why I avoid RPMs :)
You will end up regretting it. It's only a matter of time.
