You didn't gzip it like I asked, so I'm not entirely sure it hasn't been corrupted when I receive it, but what I see is just 43 zero bytes. However, looking again at the thread starting http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=18561210&forum_id=33081 you have said very little about your system, not even the version of courier-imap you're using. So the starting point should be a full run-down of your system configuration: your O/S (full version), version of courier-imap, where you got it from or what options you compiled it with; what sort of storage you are using; if it's NFS, what O/S the NFS server is running; and so on.
