Since this is a file corruption issue, it would be worth describing your
storage: e.g. what type of disks, what type of filesystem, whether there is
any RAID setup and if so how. (If you are using reiserfs, I have very little
experience of this, except that when it breaks, it breaks in spectacular
fashion; it may be worth trying ext3 instead)

Also, keep an eye out for future corruption; that is, capture several
corrupted courierimapacl files if you can, and see if they're all corrupted
in the same way.

In the source it seems there's only one place where this file is accessed -
maildir/maildiraclt.c - so it may be worth putting some debugging in there,
particularly around the point where maildir_aclt_list_enum is called.
