Can anyone help,
I have courier imap and postfix on my Ubuntu Edgy system.
Can you tell me:
a) If it is possible to log in through IMAP with only a username (eg
paul) and password, rather than [EMAIL PROTECTED] (eg [EMAIL PROTECTED])
and password?
I want to do this because my server hostname is mail.domain.com, but
my domain name is only domain.com and authentication is done against
[EMAIL PROTECTED] at present.
b) Is it possible to do address rewriting with courier imap (ie a log in
request for [EMAIL PROTECTED] comes in and the daemon automatically
rewrites this to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for use in authentication)?
