Hello, I would like to have some advice. I red the doc about courier-imap and maildrop.
My aim is to use our ldap directory filled with student data. The server will be a mail only server runing a local replica of LDAP database I've seen that we can use a global id for mailboxes. If there is not individual UID, and authentication is done by ldap, there is no need to keep imapd and ldap authentication running as root process. Is there some more information about the way to do it?. We would like to have an automatic mailbox initialization too!. At the moment, I am just looking at Cyrus and courier-imap to compare fonctionalities and speed.
