The current design of shared folders does not permit mail to be delivered to a shared folder directly. Mail has to be delivered to a regular INBOX (or another folder in the INBOX first, then copied to a shared folder manually. Shared folders are meant to be simply as a convenient way to swap mail without explicit forwarding.
