And why do I need both on a virtual mail account? pop3d and imapd only
need a pointer to the Maildir, why do they need a home dir?

p.s.: if a home directory doesn't have a Maildir/ courier creates a
file Maildir an stores the mail in the file? how could i change this
behaviour to bounce, user not found or creating a Maildir as directory?
