Hi Apologies if this has been asked before but I have searched around and have yet to find any satisfactory answers:
I'm currently using vpopmail 5.2 to administer virtual domains and I am switching from POP to IMAP. The installation guide recommends using userdb over vchkpw. What are the advantages of this ? I like the convenience of the vpopmail administration programs (vadduser etc.), but I guess if I convert to userdb these will no longer function correctly, or at least I will have to run vchkpw2userdb every time after adding a user ? What are the recommended methods for using this software in combination ? I would be interested to learn how other users of userdb administer virtual domains.
