I spent an hour on Friday configuring a system to permit authenticated SMTP over SSL using Cyrus SASL. In order to do that, I created a user database (sasldb) with username/password information. I'd now like to create mailboxes for virtual users on the same machine -- is it possible to use the same sasldb? I see userdb reference, but that appears to be different... Must I use two different user databases for these (very similar) accounts? Overall I'm a little confused with the authentication process for Courier IMAP/POP and any additional information/insight would be helpful.
