OK, I don't get it then. What does courier imap test for? Because I
think nsswitch is set up correctly. I can login OK even courier pop works,
but courier imap doesn't when a user hasn't got a entry in
/etc/passwd. Some other tests:

tdykstra@baardmijt:~$ finger test
Login: test Name: Mr. Test
Directory: /home/test Shell: /bin/bash
Last login Sat Mar 9 12:37 (CET) on pts/0
No mail.
No Plan.

tdykstra@baardmijt:/home/test$ ls -l /home/test/
total 20
drwx------ 10 test users 4096 Mar 8 11:34 Maildir/

Thanks for the help,

Tim
